Technical Writing
-
Transform engineering documentation into manufacturing work instructions
-
Added required certification requirements to works steps, preventing untrained personnel from performing non-certified operations
-
Created and revised over 1000 work instructions annually

Technical Writing Project Scope
At ESCTech(USPS) and Boeing, I wrote numerous procedural documents ranging from new aircraft builds and maintenance to machine inspection processes.
At Boeing, I planned work instructions based off engineering documentation. This included creating BoMs for the plans to consume and ensuring steps that required specific training had the appropriate certification sign-offs added.
Creating planning for maintenance procedures involved creating at minimum 3 different plans. The plans were removal, inspection, and installation. Care had to be taken to ensure the BoMs matched between the three plans. This met keeping track of hardware that was kept verses throwaway and that new hardware was being ordered when needed to ensure the overall maintenance schedule would not slide right. I have created and revised over 1000 plans annually working as a manufacturing engineer.
At ESCTech(USPS), I wrote the national ESD Control policy for the United States Postal Service. The procedure outlined how to test esd equipment to see if it was working properly and document the results, and how to properly use the equipment to prevent ESD damage to electrical equipment.
Thermal and acoustic imagers user guides and inspection guides.
